Myofasical Release
What is Fascia?
Fascia is a connective tissue that spreads throughout the body in a three-dimensional web from head to foot without interruption. It covers and infuses every bone, nerve, organ, vessel and muscle in our body all the way down to the cellular level. This fibrous connective tissue along with a liquid component called the extra cellular matrix make up what we call fascia. Fascia interconnects every aspect of our being. Restrictions or hardening and dehydrating of this fascial web can create pain and disfunction.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release uses gentle sustained pressure and tension into the areas of the fascial web that have become restricted or dehydrated in order to restore function, increase range of motion and to eliminate pain.
